Begin with the details that matter to you.
Shape and carat
Shape describes the outline of a diamond. Carat describes its weight. Consider both when choosing the proportions and appearance of your ring.
Colour and clarity
The collection is planned around D, E and F colour grades and VS1 or VS2 clarity. These details describe the selected stone and should be checked in its individual report.
Gold and fit
Choose 14K or 18K gold and your preferred metal colour. Ring sizes should be confirmed in the US or EU system before an order is placed.
What is a lab-grown diamond?
A lab-grown diamond is diamond created in a controlled production environment. Its chemical, physical and optical properties are essentially the same as those of a natural diamond; the key distinction is its origin. Specialist laboratory testing can identify that origin. See GIA's explanation of natural and laboratory-grown diamonds.
What do HPHT and CVD mean?
These are diamond-growth methods. HPHT uses high pressure and high temperature. CVD builds diamond from carbon-containing gas. The method alone does not describe every characteristic of the finished stone; check the information for the individual diamond.
A practical checklist for comparing jewellery
- Read the weight carefully. Check whether a carat figure describes a centre stone or a total. For earrings, confirm whether the stated total covers a pair or one earring.
- Compare the complete design. Review stone shape, setting, dimensions, gold fineness and metal colour together. Use product measurements alongside photographs.
- Check the selected option. Changing metal or diamond weight can change the specifications and price. Review the option you intend to order.
- Review any accompanying report. Where a report is provided, check its issuing laboratory, report number and details against the selected diamond. Ask about anything that is unclear.
